Ondo election: Akeredolu of APC declared winnner
Chief Rotimi Akeredolu of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) had been declared winner of the November 26. 2016 Ondo governorship elections.
This was made known by the Returning Officer of the election, Prof. Abdul Ganiyu Ambali.
According to Prof Gambali, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu of APC scored 244,662 votes defeating his Mr. Eyitayo Jegede of PDP who scored 150,380 votes followed by Mr. Olusola Oke of AD who scored 126,889
Mr. Akeredolu in his acceptance speech said he would concentrate on agricultural programme that will inspire youths to return to farm, to lift meals production and curb starvation and unemployment.
