Lagos state police orders investigation into the killing of 7 year old boy


The Nigerian police, Lagos state command have begin investigations into the
killing of a seven-year old boy who was reportedly killed in Badagry for allegedly stealing cassava flour, popularly known as garri.

Premium times reports Lagos police spokesperson saying the commisioner of police has directed the Divisional Police Officers (DPO) in charge of that dominion to quickly investigate and report to the command if the incident truly happened.

She also assured Nigerians that culprits will be apprehended and will be prosecuted.

The boy was caught trying to steal caasava flavour popularly known as garri from a shop in Badagry in Lagos and was lynched and set ablaze by angry mob.
