House of representatives state reason for purchase of exotic cars to members

The House of Representatives has disclosed the reason of buying luxurious cars to its members.

The lower chamber said the luxurious cars are purchased for the members to assist them in carrying out their oversight duties.

 The deputy chairman, house committee on media and public affairs, Mr. Jonathan Gaza State that recession should not stop lawmakers from performing their legislative obligations.

The PUNCH had reported exclusively that the firm had already delivered 28 units of Peugeot 508 series to members in the first batch of 50 cars.

A total unit 360 luxurious and exotic cars are expected to he delivered by january 2017.
